The overall goal of the VeeOBS project is to develop and unite the separate systems of remote sensing and automatic high-resolution measurements of water environment status to an integrated real-time system.

The project is to support and keep running the Estonian Science Roadmap object "Estonian Environmental Observatory“.

The development of a united system will make the collected data available to all partners and also others for scientific assessment of the status of the water body, for producing the forecasts, for studying the climate change effects to the water ecosystem, for formulating the political decisions etc.
