Overview
ENDURANCE is a pan-European project implemented in 25 countries across Europe which assists cities and regions with develpoing Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) by facilitating networking, mutual learning and sharing experiences and best practices across countries.
The ENDURANCE Project strives to achieve the following objectives:
- Establish enduring national Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) networks in all EU countries and Norway
- Establish an enduring and integrated European Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) audit, training and policy transfer network
- Activate 250 cities in Europe to engage in Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans and implementation of them
- Raise awareness about Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) and its benefits at national and European level institutions
ENDURANCE will build 25 national networks and an overarching European network organisation on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans. The projects main target groups are urban mobility professionals, cities and national authorities. The ENDURANCE networks will offer a training and policy exchange programme based on yearly national meetings in each country as well as on international meetings
