This project was born as a result of present needs identified on both sides of the Romanian-Hungarian border. In the two communities, Dumbravita and Balástya, it can be noticed a continuous evolution, influenced both by the demographic factor, and by the economic factor, which gives a strong impulse to the development of the two communities. At the same time, it creates the need to adapt the transport infrastructure to the new requirements of the community.
The infrastructure created improves the quality of life and develops both Romanian and Hungarian communities. The results and the effects of the project occur on both sides of the border by strengthening ties of cooperation both economically and socially; creating jobs; creating and operating of common sustainable structures; strengthening of institutional cooperation.
