Overview
Objectives
- Styling CAS (Computer aided styling) by ALIAS and ICEM surf software
- CAD files production - Using CATIA software
- Raising quality of finite element analysis by: Improvement of material modelling through material cards and/or CPFEM; Improvement of joints modelling; Improvement of overall mesh quality
- Improvement of related CNC machining and related prototype making;
- Improvement of programming of CNC machine so that several parts can be machined in one step
- Improvement of die related studies: Improvement of materials of various die parts: Either by better material selection or by inventing new special alloys for parts of unsatisfactory performance in the die (CMRDI has appropriate capabilities for inventing new special alloys). Checking the success of die parts to perform the required tasks; Checking the success of forming process by Finite Element Analysis.
