The aim of this research is to gather and then analyse first hand industry evidence of the impact that a lack of journey time reliability has on Scottish companies using the trunk road network and in particular on their scheduling and their costs. The assessment is limited to the trunk road network to inform the impact of road traffic growth and road transport investments in Scotland on reliability.
