Overview
Building upon SCOOP@F (2014-EU-TA-0669-S), C-Roads France (2015-FR-TM-0378-S) and InterCor (2015-EU-TM-0159-S), tests will be carried out in 4 major pilot sites (Mediterranean, South West, Centre East, North).
InDiD is a pilot Action aiming to evaluate how connected infrastructures will bring enhanced perception to road users.
Day 1 use cases will be upgraded to improve their performance (e.g. event location). Implementation of new Day 1.5 use cases will address major stakes within French urban nodes (e.g. multimodality, Intersections crossing). InDiD partners will experiment forthcoming Day 2 services related to enhanced perception for automated vehicles.
Experimentations will be carried out to prove that hybridisation of short-range (e.g. ITS-G5) and long-range (e.g. cellular/5G) technologies is on the path toward large scale deployment. Additionally, infrastructure digitalisation is a key step to enable enhanced perception and augmented mobility.
