The objective of the Action is the initial market deployment of a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station network accompanied by dissemination in order to facilitate the market uptake of CNG in Romania. The CNG stations network will be deployed around core urban nodes, Timisoara and Bucharest, and other important cities along the core network corridors such as Arad, Constanta, Craiova, Deva, Drobeta Turnu-Severin, Pitesti, Sibu and in order to simultaneously cover the potential demand from transiting long-distance transport and the potential demand from urban transport in the most populated areas.

Communication, dissemination, best practise collection and contribution to the improvement of the legal and regulatory framework are also part of this Action. A final deployment of 9 CNG stations is planned for end of 2019.
