The current car seat important aspects - construction (strength), comfort, ergonomics and safety - were tested separately. This approach lead to a total consideration of these four areas in relation to the complete set: the seat, its anchorage, seatbelts and head restraints. A research base was used to conduct crash tests, comfort and ergonomics research and material testing. Empirical research have proceeded by simulation studies using biomechanical modelling. The final result was be the production of seats, head restraints and belts from the proposed materials.
