Overview

Objectives

The aim of PHOBILITY ACTIVE is to enable equal mobility for those who suffer from anxiety, phobias and compulsory disorders which implies equal participation in social life. It shall help them to regain and maintain their usual forms of mobility as long as possible. In order to achieve this aim, recent developments in the field of mental health apps and cognitive therapy shall be combined. The app is the core device of the project. It aims to combine a wearable (watch, wristband) and offer a wide range of automatic or manual tools to cope with anxiety and thereby to foster self-efficacy. The tool is co-developed by users and researchers within a multi-methodical iterative approach. The Urban Mobility Lab "aspern mobil LAB" (amLAB) provides methodical knowledge and design expertise especially with regard to the usability perspective and the dissemination of the results.
