The project aims at continuing the positive experience acquired in 2008 thanks to the “Dai monti ai laghi, insieme senz’auto” (“from the mountains to the lakes, together without a car”) initiative: the partners want to increase the value of the results reached in 2008, reconfirming and updating the objectives of the project in accordance with the experience gained.

The project’s main priority is to promote the development of regional cross-border public transport services between the Grisons canton and Lombardy. This will be achieved through the definition of an integrated network for public transport, that will connect marginal areas with the main tourist destinations close by. This will allow the coordination of sustainable mobility offer on a large scale and will improve the area’s exploitment, especially considering the next important international meetings (such as Expo 2015).
