Objectives

The Neural project proposed to take advantage of the neural networks capabilities to approximate the aircraft performance models in order to achieve the High-Speed Numerical Integrator pursued by the MTM. The Neural development allowed SGO ITD to evaluate the potential benefit of the Neural Network for improving the access to the performance data.

The Neural consortium was created to join the aeronautics and embedded experience of gtd and all the expertise in optimal control and high-speed numerical integration with neural networks of the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE), a world-wide reference centre in its area.
