Background & policy context:
The network Mobile tour is a voluntary association of tourist communities and enables the exchange informatin about different topics of mobility.
Objectives:
Allow the meeting of the network Mobile tour by end of August 2004 in Saas Fee; substantive preparatory work in the area of baggage transport with public transport to holiday destinations (New Mobility plus).
Methodology:
Current issue for the network Mobile tour is the provision of baggage handling in tourist communities. There were set just first sketch of ideas. At the meeting in Saas Fee the sketch of ideas will be concretized and consolidated with the relevant actors (tourist resorts, transport partners as railways, the post office, etc.) and concrete implementation projects created.
