Overview

Objectives

The Action’s objective is to secure and improve the environmental performance of the RoRo traffic in the Core Port of Dunkirk, which lays on the North Sea-Mediterranean corridor.

The scope of the Action foresees the adaptation of Port infrastructure to allow for the reception of larger vessels, offering better economic and ecological results.

Methodology

These objectives will be reached through the building of a new RoRo ramp, offering better quality and safety for freight transport. Moreover, the new RoRo ramp will be equipped with an Onshore Power Supply system (OPS), increasing the environmental performance of the RoRo traffic.
