Objectives

The research of functional and rheological properties of bitumens. Research of thermal and oxidative aging of various bituminous binders and asphalt mixtures. Influence of rheological properties of asphalt binders on the functional properties of asphalt mixtures. Influence of laboratory test results of bitumens and asphalt mixtures on performance of pavement wearing courses. Determination of criteria for the elimination of use of unsuitable bituminous binders and mixtures to extend the asphalt layers performance.
