Overview

Objectives:

Project aims at developing operational application for detecting sea ice and marine wind speed from satellite imagery. The main tasks are:

  1. development of algorithms for estimation ice and wind condition in Estonia,
  2. optimization of algorithms for operational exploitation, and
  3. field measurements of ice parameters for algorithm cal/val.
