Overview

Objectives

The project aim is to reduce differences between the developed and underdeveloped areas in the following fields: living and, economic conditions, education, culture, health-care, social-care and infrastructure.

The general objective is to facilitate the general development for the partnership between communities located in the border area. The specific objective is to increase the quality of life and environment by rehabilitating the existing connecting road between Sarkand - Ant.

The main activity of the project is the preparation of joint feasibility study, feasibility study and environment impact study, preparation of approvals, preparation of technical design.

The direct beneficiary of the project is the population of the 2 localities. Indirect beneficiaries are the people who are living in the cross-border region, but also all tourists that are passing the region. The project results consist of 3 studies and 3 projects for rehabilitation/construction of 17,150 km of road.
