Overview

Background & policy context:

Under real operating conditions shall be tested inhibitors on MFP (Monofluorophosphate) basis as corrosion protection for combating chloride-induced corrosion in reinforced concrete structures.
The results of the field trials will provide insights into short, medium and long term effects as well as the optimization of the application parameters.

Objectives:

1. Optimization of the application parameters of MFP inhibitors.
2. More accurate quantitative information and examining the long-term efficacy of the inhibitor.

Methodology:

Field trials, laboratory tests.
