Background & policy context:
Road Equivalent Tariff (RET) is a distance based fares structure, which underpins the Scottish Government’s commitment to providing one single overarching fares policy across Scotland’s entire ferry network.
Objectives:
The aim of this study is to conduct an evaluation of the Road Equivalent Tariff (RET) pilot on Colonsay, Gigha and Islay.
