Overview

Objectives

The Action's overall objective is to promote the use of a new and innovative technology for production and supply of an alternative fuel for transportation partly based on regenerative sources (Bio Gas).

The scalable, multifunctional plant will be established in the TEN-T core port of Bremen, which is part of the Scandinavian-Mediterranean TEN-T core network corridor. The Action is a study and full-scale real-life deployment project of a liquefaction and supply facility for LBG at the port of Bremen.

In addition, it will develop and demonstrate the process of the larger scale market roll out of the multi-functional facility into the TEN-T network. To deliver on its objective, the Action covers planning and business model development, construction works for the plant, demonstration and marketing activities, as well as dissemination and project management.
