Overview

Objectives

The main objective of the project is a development of advanced system for charging of electric vehicles. This advanced system is an effective part of Smart Grid system which is the essential benefit. This fact improves business opportunities on european market.

The objectives of the project are as follows:

a) Public charging station - basic feature of this station is it's abilty to be managed by distribution network status. This station can be installed as an essential part of SmartGrid system due to standardized communication interface.

b) Home charging station managed by residual capacity of electric power in the household and tarif structure - charging station optimizes charging current based on residual electric power and reduces charging time

c) Measurement device - component of the system, which measures residual capacity of power in particular household

d) Control unit for continuous control of charging - this unit manages charging current continuously in the contrary of present step control management

e) PLC communication modules - these modules allow to transfer data over the power line, so there is no need of additional wiring instalation. This reduces instalation cost.

f) Data management software - software for remote control and parametrization of charging station and remote data readout.
