Overview
The project aim was to develop community accounting for Oslo Sporveier. The societal accounts should cover impacts from passenger transport group comparing them with the other passenger transport in Oslo. It was done by putting numbers of energy consumption and emissions of CO2, NOx, PM10 and PM2.5 for different forms of passenger transport. Social Costs of various emissions were reckoned by attributing various cost factors. Accident costs and noise costs of different forms of passenger transport were also quantified. In addition, an analysis of gross direct energy use was performed.

The final report presents the social accounts for Oslo Sporveier for the year 2003. It illustrates how the basis for the calculations has been found. In addition, updated factors are presented: energy consumption, emissions, accident costs and noise costs from various types of passenger transport within Oslo city limits. It also presents updated factors for environmental costs related to the various pollutants.
In the social accounts, societal impacts from the group's passenger transport are compared with those corresponding effects from the remaining passenger transport in Oslo. A review of energy consumption and emissions of CO2, NOx, PM10 and PM2.5 for the various forms of passenger transport is also presented.
The community costs of the various emissions are calculated by adding the different emissions components own cost factors. There is also a countdown of accident costs and noise costs different forms of passenger transport.
