The project aimed to reduce the negative impact of stressors on city public transport drivers.
The methodology of a group anti-stress programme for drivers and individual programme for drivers after traffic accidents was produced. Both methodologies were integrated in the framework of the design of complex anti-stress measures which can be used by public transport companies. Thanks to this, lower participation in traffic accidents leading to safer traffic in urban areas is expected.
1) Methodics of the individual treatment of drivers after the traffic accident - the individual programme for drivers based on the principles of crisis intervention and specific knowledge about the impact of the traffic accident on the psychical and physical setup of the public transport drivers. The aim of the intervention is to cope with the psychical consequences of the accident and build an individual plan for the accident prevention.
2) Methodics of the stress prevention group programme for the public transport drivers - methodics of the psychoeducative programme for preventive work with public transport drivers. Text can be used by the development specialists of the public transport companies, internal and external lectors or psychologists. The methodics cover all the key issues of the antistress care and include both theoretical and practical information. The psychohygienic proceedings, relaxation methods and adaptive ways to cope with the stress are also included in the text.
