Overview

Objectives

The Action's overall objective is to contribute to the roll-out of a network of LNG/CNG refuelling stations across Europe by using an innovative concept of flexible, modular natural gas stations that can easily be deployed to meet customers’ needs on a “Plug & Play” basis. The Action consists of a study combined with the deployment of natural gas refuelling stations at six locations in the UK and one location in the Netherlands. The Action is located on the North Sea-Mediterranean corridor. The Action will monitor the operational performance of the refuelling stations to find out up to which extend they meet customer requirements. It will investigate options for sourcing biomethane to blend with the natural gas in future plus technical enhancements with a view to harmonising LNG fuelling software and payment systems in different countries.
