Overview
The objective of the project is to propose a security system designed for transporting children in motor vehicles, reducing dynamic loads acting on the child's body transported in an accident. The system consists of appropriately contoured cushions made of energy-dissipating material, fixed to the front seat of the vehicle and cooperating with cushion restraint system (car seat) mounted on the rear seat of the vehicle. Following the frontal impact following breaking, the locking component and the seat can move in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, combined with the introduced additional structural components of the seat cushion and allows a reduction in the likelihood of injury to the child's body during an accident.
