Overview
Objectives:
The aim of this project is to use a practical application to explore whether the supplementary use of traffic prediction information can be optimised in the existing work process of (regional) operational traffic management.
Methodology:
The assumption is that decisions on the timing of deploying/removing the measures or scenarios can optimise how the package of measures is composed and thereby markedly boost the network performance and minimise lost journey time.
