Background & policy context:
Croatian Railways (HZ Infrastructure) implement preventative and educational campaign "The train is always faster", as part of the International Awareness Day on level crossings (3 June 2014).
Objectives:
The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of drivers, that accidents at level crossings are not only a problem of railways. Data from around the world show that 95% of the accidents causes recklessness of drivers, motorcyclists or pedestrians, who cross the railway line and failure to comply with signals.
