Overview
The complexity of passenger transport is increasing as a result of the continuous compression and connection of different means of transport. This can lead to the information overload and the disorientation of travellers, especially in the case of lack of local knowledge.
The project aims at enabling mobility assistance, which supports a broad population-based approach in public passenger transport and provides navigation aids in a suitable way, at the right time and in the necessary depth. In the "RadAR +" project, a personal mobility agency will be developed, which supports users during transport changes.
The analysis is based on portable devices such as data glasses and smartwatches which are used according to personal needs. In this way, complex route information can also be conveyed to the situation. Against the backdrop of demographic change, particular attention is paid to the age-appropriate design of the system. The special requirements for data protection and data security are taken into account when the usage behaviour is required. This is due to the fact that all user data remain access protected on the local memory of the device.
