Overview
The project is focused on optimising the design elements of roads and motorways defined in the Czech national standards. Its aim is to enable an efficient design while maintaining a sustainable road safety and reduced environmental impact. This should be achieved by change of the design parameters (horizontal and vertical layout of the route, transverse arrangement, speed, etc.) to meet the needs of the individual users of the roads and the current vehicle fleet.
