The project aims at updating the design elements of local roads and related areas, defined in the Czech national standards. Its goal is to enable efficient design while maintaining a sustainable road safety. The project will update / optimise parameters defined in particular in the valid CSN 73 6110 standard, such as requirements for horizontal and vertical alignment and transverse arrangement of roads, calculation of parking spaces, riding envelopes of vehicles compared with road width enlargement rules in curves, requirements regarding drivers´ range of vision etc.
