Welcome to the final 2019 issue of the Transport Research and Innovation Monitoring and Information System (TRIMIS) Newsletter. TRIMIS is an online platform for policy makers and researchers to share and discuss innovation in transport and mobility in Europe.
This month, the newsletter highlight is 'Research and innovation in low emission alternative energy for transport' a report from the Joint Research Centre. The report provides a comprehensive analysis of research and innovation in alternative fuels in selected European Union (EU) funded projects from 2007 onwards. It identifies relevant researched technologies by fuel type and their phase of development.
