Welcome to the July edition of Transport Research and Innovation Monitoring and Information System (TRIMIS) Newsletter. TRIMIS is an online platform for policy makers and researchers to share and discuss innovation in transport and mobility in Europe.
This month, we highlight JRC’s new Green Driving Tool that aims to reduce drivers’ fuel consumption, find less-fuel-consuming routes and record user trips.
Furthermore, we include a selection of projects including:
- HYFIVE, which aims for the widespread roll-out of commercial hydrogen vehicles and refuelling infrastructure across Europe;
- SORCERER, an ongoing project that researches the development of electric and hybrid-electric civil aircraft;
- E-COMPLIANCE, which focuses on integration and co-operation in the digitalisation of the European maritime sector;
- PAVAMTIO that researches tools in strategic measures in transportation.
This issue also presents a selection of forthcoming events from the TRIMIS database. Some events will be delivered in an online format due to the ongoing travel restrictions.
