Welcome to the May edition of Transport Research and Innovation Monitoring and Information System (TRIMIS) Newsletter. TRIMIS is an online platform for policy makers and researchers to share and discuss innovation in transport and mobility in Europe. As many of us are now adjusting to a “new normal” with COVID-19
restrictions being lifted, we are pleased to highlight a high number of TRIMIS publication.
This month, we highlight the Special Eurobarometer survey on ‘Expectations and concerns of connected and automated driving’. This is the first Eurobarometer survey on this topic. Alongside this, we feature two TRIMIS journal papers on catalysing sustainable transport innovation through policy support and monitoring and on digital transformation of transport, and we feature the updated 2020 report on alternative fuels in transport systems within the European Union. In addition, two reports are included in this months newsletter, presenting the first list of indicators that provides input to the further development of the STRIA roadmaps and on the 1st TRIMIS Horizon scanning session.
