Welcome to the October issue of the Transport Research and Innovation Monitoring and Information System (TRIMIS) Newsletter. TRIMIS is an online platform for policy makers and researchers to share and discuss innovation in transport and mobility in Europe.

                              

This month, the newsletter highlights two updated roadmaps from the Strategic Transport Research and Innovation Agenda (STRIA):

  • Connected and automated transport promises a number of benefits for the individual, society and economy in the European transport sector. This update further develops the research and innovation strategy.
  • Smart Mobility and Services (SMO). The implementation roadmap explores the contribution of SMO to energy and transport system sustainability and strategic contribution to overall transport systems redesign.

                                

This issue also presents a selection of  projects and forthcoming events from the TRIMIS database.
