Welcome to the October edition of the Transport Research and Innovation Monitoring and Information System (TRIMIS) Newsletter. TRIMIS is an online platform for policy makers and researchers to share and discuss innovation in transport and mobility in Europe.
This month, we include information about the Horizon2020 'European Green Deal Call' that will provide up to EUR 1 billion to boost the green and digital transition. In addition, we feature a new report produced by the TRIMIS team on 'Research and innovation in road vehicle emissions control'. The report supports the process launched by the European Commission to develop stricter emissions standards (Euro 7/VII) for road vehicles, one of the key Green Deal initiatives for mobility. It analyses publicly funded research and innovation projects in Europe that address vehicle emissions and reviews the most recent relevant research conducted at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre.
This issue also presents a selection of projects and forthcoming events from the TRIMIS database. Some events will be delivered in an online format due to the ongoing travel restrictions.
