This event will be in two parts:
Session I will focus on Road Safety in the EU – Looking ahead to 2030. During this session there will be keynote addresses from Mr Eduardo Cabrita, Minister for Home Affairs of Portugal and Ms Adina Vălean, European Commissioner for Transport.
There will also be a presentation from the European Commission on the new EU road safety strategy and from the Portuguese Road Safety Authority (Autoridade Nacional de Segurança Rodoviária) on Portugal’s national road safety strategy.

We received 138 submissions on our Call for presentations and we highly appreciate your efforts and interest in ECOMM. The IPC evaluated all submissions and the program has been finalized in time.

The fundamental objective of a Smart City is to incorporate all these areas in order to improve the lives of citizens in the world. The Smart Cities Summit Portugal is an opportunity for national and international experts to share their ideas, experiences and challenges in developing a Smart City. It acts as a market place, creating opportunities for the international sphere.
The increasing deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is opening up new avenues of research opportunities towards that future. Although, there have been a number of deployments of diverse IoT systems in the urban space, our understanding of these systems and their implications has just scratched the surface.
Urb-IoT is the 4th EAI International Conference on IoT in Urban Space, which will discuss these new avenues for research and broaden our understanding of IoT technologies.
