Overview

The 2nd European Hyperloop Symposium will take place online and in person in Brussels on 7 November 2022 at 11:00-17:00 CET

Hyperloop is a new mode of transportation for mid- to long-distance travel offering a carbon-free alternative to airplanes and will complement the railway network. Hyperloop is a rail-bound mode of transport that operates magnetically levitating vehicles running at sonic speed within a low-pressure tube. The concept will rely exclusively on renewable energy sources, such as solar energy and will leverage the extension of the linear infrastructure as a whole. It is a key to long-distance sustainable transport and a major contributor to achieving the GHG reduction target set by the EC for 2030 and 2050.
