Overview
The state of the art of hydrogen and fuel cells technologies available will be presented and a vision for the implementation of this technique in the European railway sector will be drawn. The conference will provide a platform for stakeholders (End users and industry in the railway transport sector, FC technology suppliers of components, systems and fuel, regulatory bodies operating on the national and international level, the research community) to focus on the opportunity, weakness and strengths of the hydrogen and fuel cells technology and to discuss, in a common forum, about a shared, realistic development of hydrogen based systems in railway applications.
