The Light Rail Conference and Exhibition 2007

The conference will draw out the major contribution which light rail can make to enhancing the quality of city life and underpinning urban sustainability. It will examine policy strands and formal processes, but it will also highlight the opportunities available and the approaches needed to seize them. In doing so, it will celebrate successes from within Great Britain and from elsewhere in Europe. It will aim to understand the British context and processes but it will also seek to create movement for positive change.
