Maintenance Management of Marine Energy Projects

Marine Energy Converters have unique maintenance problems due to their location and operating environment. Failure to address these issues will lead to availability performance well below expectation. As it is a new technology, many projects are concentrating on the performance aspects. Experience gained in traditional technologies is that maintenance issues need to be addressed at the prototype stage.
