New Transit in Town

The event will present the conclusions and recommendations for 'policy guidance' of the EC-funded NETMOBIL (New Transport concepts for Enhanced and Sustainable Personal Urban Mobility) project and its four cluster projects (STARDUST, EDICT, CyberCars and CyberMove). It includes presentations from leading experts, workshops and a technical visit on the planning and implementation of innovative transport systems for sustainable cities (including personal rapid transit systems, cybernetic cars and advanced driver assistance systems).

Finally, a major feature will be the pre-launch demonstration of the second generation ParkShuttle at Rivium Business Park, a bus-like transport system using small, fully automatic and driverless vehicles.
