Overview

The ReVeAL project (Regulating Vehicle Access for Improved Liveability) is organising its Final Conference from 8-9 November 2022 in London, United Kingdom.

ReVeAL aims to undertake concrete action with regards to 'smarter Urban Vehicle Access Regulations' (UVARs). The overarching mission of the project is to enable cities to optimize urban space and transport network usage through new and integrated packages of urban vehicle access policies and technologies for the benefit of people living in these cities, in order to reduce emissions and noise, and increase accessibility and quality of life.

As ReVeAL is approaching the end of its activities, the Consortium is gathering the quantitative and qualitative data of pilots and other UVAR best practices to fine-tune support tools to help cities find their perfect UVAR in a holistic way. The ReVeAL tools are a tangible way of future-proofing UVARs and, in synergy with the UVAR Box and UVAR Exchange projects, lay the basis for an accurate and interoperable EU-wide real-time UVAR information digital service in the near future. The project is a partnership between POLIS, Rupprecht Consult, Ghent University, V-TRON and other stakeholders.

The final event of ReVeAL will be an opportunity to take stock of the work and results achieved in the last three years of activities - in particular, the ReVeAL tools. The Conference will also be a great opportunity for UVAR experts and mobility planners interested in access regulations to meet the pioneering ReVeAL cities Helmond (NL), Jerusalem (IL), London (UK), Padova (IT), Vitoria-Gasteiz (ES) and Bielefeld (DE) and network the future of UVARs.
