The TRIMIS team participated in the TEN-T Days 2018 Conference in Ljubljana to promote the activities of the Transport Research and Innovation Monitoring and Information System to relevant stakeholders. TEN-T Days is a major transport exhibition and conference event, which gathered more than 2,000 delegates and 26 European transport ministers. The TRIMIS team provided the opportunity for stakeholders to interact with the TRIMIS web portal on a large screen. The team demonstrated the capabilities of TRIMIS and recent activities including new reports that will be coming soon and web facilities under implementation, future infographics, advanced search engine implementation, etc.
The TRIMIS stand attracted considerable interest over the three-day conference with visitors including European Commissioner for Mobility and Transport, Violeta Bulc. Overall, the presence of TRIMIS presence at the TEN-T Days 2018 was well received, demonstrated by the interest received from a range of transport stakeholders. There was also high demand for copies of the EU Transport Research & Innovation Status Assessment Report, which provides the first overview of the R&I projects and programme in the EU.
