Overview
PULS is an extensive research programme covering services, commerce and logistics. The programme focuses on value creation in service oriented enterprises through networking and collaboration. The main target groups are private companies, research institutions and their partners in the public sector.
The programme has the following main research themes:
- Logistic and transportation
- Value creation in networks
- New approaches to sales and distribution
- Knowledge management
This programme is intended to have a major impact on the further development of competitive services in Norway. It will contribute to:
- R & D-based innovation
- Improved innovation processes in networks of co-operating players
- Better, more efficient logistics and transport services
- Knowledge development
- Internationalisation
The programme offers financial support to research projects dealing with innovation processes within and between companies and development of knowledge based products and services, including efficient logistics and transportation solutions.
Funding
The PULS programme finances two kinds of projects:
25% of the budget is used to support Knowledge-building projects - where the main objective is to meet anticipated R&D capability needs of Norwegian industry,
75% of the budget in used to support User-driven innovation projects - initiated by the industry / industrial networks
