The Transport 2025 programme was started in 2015. The programme is the Research Council of Norway's new strategic focus on research and innovation within the transport domain. The Transport 2025 programme incorporates a systemic perspective on the transport system viewed as a whole.
The programme is the Research Council of Norway's new strategic focus on research and innovation within the transport domain. The Transport 2025 programme incorporates a systemic perspective on the transport system viewed as a whole. This is done by addressing challenges related to the interaction between the four transport modes, the interaction between the key challenges in the transport system as well as the key challenges related to one or several modes. Research includes passenger transport as well as logistics and freight transport. A unified perspective and the need for change have provided the key guiding principles for this integrated Norwegian research funding initiative.
