Objectives
1 – Research, development, design, implementation and operational demonstration of a new fail-safe signalling system for regional lines by way of step innovation of the Radio block system for regional lines, achieving a required safety integrity level and ensuring an interface to suitable dispatcher, information, security and monitoring systems.
2 – Analysis and proposal of changes in the railway legislation and in technical standardisation for regional lines and associated technical systems.
