Smart mobile seating furniture for a quick breather and staying in the street

The project MOBLE aims at developing a design for local and target groups based adequate 'smart seating' suitable for 'short breaks'. The seating furniture will be able to optimise the best location within a defined locality due to its technical facilities and the algorithm to be developed within the project. Three prototypes will be produced and placed in public space for testing and evaluating the developed design and algorithm. The smart furniture helps the population at their daily walk. MOBLE is therefor especially designed to be used at roads that are necessary to reach POIs such as PT-stops, shopping possibilities etc. MOBLE supports the strategies of many cities and communities to improve the attractiveness of walking.
