Transport, environment and costs. Quality assurance of a database for energy use, emissions to air, socio-economical costs and accident risk for various forms of goods- and passenger transport

Norway Railways has developed an environmental database for passenger and freight transport. VF went through the database and ensured that the distance based emission calculations were consistent with the best available knowledge. Also risk of accidents and economic costs were calculated.
