The project’s objective is to improve mobility on both sides (Italy and Switzerland) through:

1. Tourist flows from the Locarno area (National Park and Lake Maggiore) to Ossola and vice versa. For this purpose, new vehicles will be purchased to increase public transport offer and a new information network will be set up so as to facilitate the purchase of collective transport services and to improve their use and connections.
2. Promotion of the use of public transport amongst tourists, people subject to vulnerability and travellers in general.
3. Setting a parking plan and a mobility-management plan for the National Park of the Locarno area so as to limit traffic.
4. The creation of a new cooperative association in Ossola.
