Background & policy context:
The implementation of the new network database in National personal transport model requires a validation of the existing state of 2005 model (net attributes, data and connections) for the average weekday traffic (AWDT) and the time framework. Also a lack of model conditions is to supplement.
Objectives:
The objectives of the project are:
- validation of the basic networks and network attributes,
- analysis of the route selection and validation of the model for the actual condition in year 2005,
- creation of missing model states for year 2005 and 2030.
Methodology:
Existing master network has to be checked and improved.
Due to the network adjustments, it was necessary to adjust the selection of the model conditions in the actual situation in 2005 for the average weekday traffic.
Also the time framework and the models for the evening and morning peak hour has to be improved accordingly.
