Overview
The Action's overall objective was to promote the use a new and innovative technology for production and supply of an alternative fuel for transportation partly based on regenerative sources (Bio Gas).
The Action was a study and full-scale real-life deployment project of a liquefaction and supply facility for LBG at the port of Bremen (being part of the Scandinavian-Mediterranean TEN-T Core Network Corridor). It aimed to develop and demonstrate the process of the larger scale market roll out of the multi-functional facility into the TEN-T network.
To deliver on its objective, the Action covered planning and business model development, construction works for the plant, demonstration and marketing activities, as well as dissemination and project management.

Results
The Action was however only partly implemented:
- the scalable, multi-functional plant was not constructed in the TEN-T Core port of Bremen and thus real-life deployment was not executed;
- the studies and demonstration, marketing and dissemination activities were limited to the analysis and market research results and did not include the real-life trial element.
